Week One

I reached 80% of my financial goal on August 11th. Praise God! I appreciate and am blessed by everyone who has been keeping me in their prayers...

I am now officially an intern with Campus Crusade for Christ: Nebraska Catalytic and am excited to see what all God has in store for me! My first experience as an intern with Crusade was at a CORE retreat for student leaders this last weekend. It was so good to meet the students that I will be working with and begin to build relationships with them.

To begin the week as a team we met Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday morning for staff training. We dug into God's Word and learned about what it is going to look like when we start working on each of the campuses in Nebraska. I feel like God has had in Hand on me through all of this and has been shaping me for this opportunity that has been placed before me. I am still unsure about how everything is going to fall into place or even what it is going to look like when I begin meeting and talking face to face with students, but I know it is going to be good. There is no doubt in my mind that He wants me here and that He desires to use me for His purpose. I have surrendered this year over to Him and am ready to be used!
